Such sad, sad news!
We hate to report it, but it seems Demi Lovato's biological father, Patrick Lovato, has passed away.
We have very minimal details about the death, but her sister, Dallas Lovato, broke the news over Twitter.
She posted:

We know Demi wasn't super close to her biological dad, but we can't imagine how hard this is on her.
We hope the whole family has strength during this difficult time.
Our thoughts are with all of them!

Selena Gomez and Baby Sister Gracie Elliot Teefey: See the Pics of the Siblings!

Looks like Selena Gomez loves being a big sister!
We have exclusively obtained the photos of the singer and her new baby sister, Gracie Elliott, and they're even more adorable than you could imagine.
The pop star's mother, Mandy Cornett, along with Cornett's husband Brian Teefey visited Selena at work in Malibu while the brunette beauty was on her lunch break for a shoot for her Dream Out Loud clothing line.
According to an eyewitness, Selena "ran out of the studio door as fast as she could when she realized her mother brought the baby...She was so excited to be a big sister."
We can tell! And it looks like her motherly instincts have already kicked in.
"Even though the baby didn't realize what was going on, Selena was making faces, waving her hands…Her mom Mandy looked great and happy" the insider adds. 
The brunette beauty smiled and laughed as she held the little one close. She didn't feed the baby during her break (let's leave that to mom!), but she enjoyed snapping pics with her sister.
"Selena loved taking selfies of her and the baby," the eyewitness said. "After each shot she showed her mom...she got the photo she wanted on the third try."
And of course, the doting sibling made sure to give her sis a kiss goodbye before she headed back to work.
Cornett welcomed her first child with Teefey just nine days ago. Little Gracie is Selena's first sibling.
"Momma, Brian, and me are all so grateful for all your well wishes," the "Come and Get It" singer tweeted after the baby's arrival. "My lil sissy Gracie Elliot Teefey was born on June 12th. Luv you all XO." Check out the snaps below:

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez cemented their BFF status this weekend when they enjoyed a day out together to help kick-start their summer.

The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer shared a brief Vine video of their day out in the sun yesterday (22nd June), as the pair shared ice cream cones on a pier in the good summer weather.

"It's summer, isn't it?" Taylor is seen cheekily asking 'Come And Get It' singer Selena, who quickly replies: "It's summer time!"

The pair, who are well known to have been close friends for some time now, were both eating an ice cream while dressed up in summer outfits and dark shades.

Ariana Grande Addresses Eating Disorder And Religion Rumours

 

Ariana Grande has had a lot of rumours about herself going around lately – from the fact that she lost a ton of weight to the religions she practices – so she decided to put an end to the rumours by writing a note for her fans.
The note reveals that Ariana lost weight when she made a healthy change in her diet. She revealed that she eats much more organically and that she has eliminated junk food.
Ariana also spoke about how she has just picked up Kabbalah again, but how she still practices being a Roman Catholic, celebrates Jewish holiday, and meditates.

In the latest issue of Total Girl magazine Ariana Grande spills about her fans, her new show “Sam & Cat,” and her “Sam & Cat” co-star Jennette McCurdy. Here’s what Ariana had to say about her fans:

Demi Lovato: I Want My Own Barbie Doll — But It Must Be My Actual Body Type

Demi Lovato wants her own Barbie doll — but only if it captures her real figure.
The singer, who’s openly discussed her lifelong struggle with body issues, took to Twitter on Monday to express her special birthday wish (although the big milestone isn’t for two months).

“1 of my biggest dreams, having collected Barbies since I was a kid, is to have my own Barbie BUT with my actual body type.. Weight & height,” wrote Lovato.

She implored her fans to help make it happen, tweeting, “Lovatics!!! Blow up @BarbieStyle to make it happen!!!! That would be one dope 21st birthday!! Hahaha.”

“Also, Barbie should make dolls with cellulite!!! Hahaha!!! After all, around 95% of ALL women have it!!!” added Lovato, who went on to retweet several of her followers’ supportive messages on the issue.




The “X Factor” judge has been an outspoken advocate for healthy portrayals of girls’ and women’s bodies in the media for quite some time.
Back in 2011, Lovato blasted The Disney Channel  - her former employer - for airing a joke about eating disorders on “Shake It Up.”

Ariana Grande’s Song “The Way” Goes Platinum

 

Wow! Congratulations to Ariana Grande – her song “The Way” just went Platinum! Ariana’s track features Mac Miller and is off of her debut album “Daydreamin’,” which will arrive in August!
Here’s what Ariana had to say when she heard the big news:

The Way went platinum today!!!! Mom and I are crying. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Music has been my passion since I was a little girl and now I have my first platinum record at 19. No words to express my gratitude!!!!

Ariana also added:

I don't know about you but we were pretty excited! Ariana has tried so hard on the song; you can tell. Therefore she deserves EVERYTHING good that happens in her music, and acting, career!

 

 

Demi Lovato: My Mom Hates My Tattoos

 

The American star has around 12 inking's on her body, some of which she regrets. Last year she claimed she might get some removed when she is older, but that hasn't stopped the 20-year-old singer adding to her collection.
In November she had 12 birds tattooed on her lower right arm by Kat Von D, something her mother was horrified about when she first saw it.

"Um, more like a day or so," Demi told Heat magazine, when asked how long they didn't talk for. "I went over to my mom's and I had it bandaged up, which probably made it look bigger than it was, so she just thought I'd got a half sleeve or something! She didn't react well and I ended up leaving. It was pretty bad."

Demi sees permanent inkings as an art form, but no matter how hard she tries, her mother Dianna won't see her point of view. That said, Dianna doesn't mind quite so much when her daughter brands herself discreetly. The star's father Patrick also disapproves, but tackles his feelings in a different way.

"My mom and I got into a huge fight when I got the birds on my arms, just because she has a different perception of tattoos than my generation does," Demi explained. "And so it's hard to explain to her that it's like art for your skin and you don't have to draw it on every day. It's something that's meaningful. My mom and dad get so mad! When it's littler ones, my mom doesn't mind so much, but we got into a huge fight over this.

"My dad still, to this day, has not mentioned anything about my tattoo, which is pretty funny."
Demi enjoyed a great deal of success last year, appearing on the panel of the US X Factor. Simon Cowell is her co-judge and was thrilled with how well she did in her first season, so she is coming back for another round of shows.

The young star gets on well with the music mogul, with the pair teasing each other regularly. Although they are close, there are some things Demi draws the line at.
"At least $50 million," she replied, when asked how much it would take for her to get a tattoo of Simon's face. "Yeah, $50 million or $100 million."
