Selena Gomez heads to a meeting with her new director William H. Macy as they prepare work on new film "Rudderless"

New project: Selena Gomez was spotted having a chat with her new Rudderless director William H. Macy in Los Angeles on Monday

Selena Gomez met up with her new director William H. Macy as they prepare work on new film "Rudderless." The actress met with William in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles on Monday.
It was recently announced that Selena will be starring in the 63-year-old actor’s second spell behind the camera, with Anton Yelchin, Laurence Fishburne, and Billy Crudup also set to appear.
The film, his second directorial feature after 1988 TV film Lip Service, relates the tale of 'a grieving father who forms a band after finding his deceased son’s songs.'

Exceedingly good taste: The pair had met up in the uber posh Sherman Oaks area of the city

When it was time for Selena to leave, Bill looked more than a little disappointed as he no doubt wanted an audience to see his skills with a guitar.
Selena recently boasted of her ease with being a celebrity, saying: 'Luckily, I've been able to experience it all before. I grew up in one of the biggest high schools in the world - the Disney channel.
'I grew up with the Jonas brothers and Miley [Cyrus]. I got to experience all that at such a young age, unfortunately - or fortunately - that now it just doesn't faze me.'

Bye bye Billy: Selena gave a cheerful wave as a disappointed William trundled off to his next activity

Open mouthed: She looked like she had been slightly overawed to meet the notably versatile actor
